This is not a business...it is a passion. 

All of our Labradors are trained, are our companions first and are also either obedience titled, farm workers, hunting partners, etc. They have acres to run and play each day. Ponds to swim in and trails to run on here at our farm.

Our goal is to raise healthy, well-adjusted, and beautiful Labradors that will enhance your family as they have done ours. Our pups are born and raised indoors. They are closely monitored and socialized by our family. They are NOT kept in kennel runs, every dog of ours lives indoors. We also work from home so we are with our pack all throughout the day.

So let’s start with how we raise our puppies..

We start ENS and ESI handling at 3 days old until 16 days of age.

Before going to their new homes puppies will have been de-wormed several times and have received their first vaccines.

We start potty training at 3 weeks of age onto hay pellets/shavings.

Due to the increased risk of carpal arthritis, we do not remove dewclaws.

A puppy packet with AKC paperwork, information on both parents and information for your vet is included on pick up day. A sample bag of food with a packet of probiotics, a stuffed animal as well as a blanket (that smells like mom and littermates) also go home with our puppies. Along with lifetime support and training assistance.

We do not place puppies with just ANYONE. We are very sincere and devoted to giving our pups 110% from the day they are born. We want to make sure that when the day comes for our puppies to leave that we have made the right choice in choosing a new "forever family" for them.  With that said, it is our responsibility to thoroughly evaluate our pups and select which awaiting home is best suited for that individual puppy. Never do we allow persons to “Pick” a puppy off of a photo. We try to help guide potential new owners with their best suitable match around 6 weeks of age when their personalities really start to show.

Deposit Info

We start a puppy waiting list when we know that we either have a planned a breeding or a pregnant female coming up.

When we breed a litter we are also breeding for ourselves and will keep as many puppies as we deem necessary to continue with our breeding program.

We require you to fill out a Puppy Application form prior to accepting any deposit.

Paypal, Zelle, Venmo or Cash are accepted for a deposit of $300 towards the purchase price of your puppy.

All deposits are non-refundable, unless we do not have enough puppies to fulfill deposits that we have received.

In this case, we will happily refund your deposit, or you may move it to a future litter. We take the commitment of receiving a deposit seriously.

We understand life happens and do not take it personally if you cannot take your puppy. I fully believe puppies end up where they are meant to be if they stay with us longer it is not a concern.

The remaining balance is due at the time the puppy is picked up. Balance may be paid with cash or money order.

We sell all of our pet puppies on AKC Limited registration which means they are AKC registered dogs which cannot be used for breeding and cannot be shown in conformation shows or field trials. They can still be shown in obedience, agility, rally, tracking, retriever hunting trials, and other performance events.

Matoskah Meadows Labradors reserves the right to keep any puppies from any litter. We also reserve the right to refuse the sale of any puppy, without explanation. We reserve the right to refuse sale even if deposit has been accepted, in which case the deposit would be returned to buyer within 30 days of being notified.
