At Matoskah Meadows Labradors, our dogs are family first. They share our home and enjoy an active life on our Southern Michigan farm, where acres of open space, ponds and trails provide endless opportunities to explore. Our Labradors are more than companions; they are accomplished in obedience, hunting, farm work and other activities that showcase the breed’s versatility.

Our puppies are born and raised inside our climate controlled puppy cottage, never in outdoor kennel runs. With hands-on care, early socialization, and Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI), we strive to give each puppy a strong foundation for life.

Puppy Placement

We believe the right match matters. Rather than allowing selections based solely on photographs, we carefully evaluate each puppy’s temperament and personality to help match them with the most suitable family, typically around six weeks of age.

Every puppy goes home with age-appropriate veterinary care, AKC limited registration paperwork, a thoughtfully prepared puppy package and our continued support.

Reservations & Pricing

Puppies start at $3,000.

A completed Puppy Application is required before accepting a $300 non-refundable deposit, which is applied toward the purchase price and may be transferred to a future litter. The remaining balance is due at pickup. Deposits are accepted through PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, or cash.

Our companion puppies are placed with AKC Limited Registration. They can still participate in AKC events such as obedience, agility, rally, tracking, hunt tests, field trials and other performance sports. They cannot compete in AKC conformation shows or have AKC-registered offspring.

Our companion puppies are never sold with breeding rights.

As each breeding is planned with the future of our program in mind, we reserve the right to retain puppies from our litters.

Our commitment to our Labradors extends well beyond the day they leave our farm. We are always here to offer guidance, encouragement, and lifetime breeder support.

Matoskah Meadows Labradors reserves the right to keep any puppies from any litter. We also reserve the right to refuse the sale of any puppy, without explanation. We reserve the right to refuse sale even if deposit has been accepted, in which case the deposit would be returned to buyer within 30 days of being notified.
